Sever’s Fall Festival was the first corn maze in the Midwest in 1997, Sever Peterson and his family recall the event was inspired by hedge mazes in Europe. Since then, they have expanded to include countless activities that an entire family could spend days enjoying. The 2026 season marks the 30th year that Sever’s has been open.
For 2026, Sever’s Fall Festival is getting “Back to Its Roots”—bringing the focus back to the simple, classic fall traditions that started it all. With the legendary corn maze at the heart of the experience, families can enjoy 30+ attractions, farm fun, seasonal favorites and plenty of time together, while also benefiting from lower ticket prices and a general admission ticket that’s valid for unlimited visits all season long.
As always, the corn maze is just the beginning of countless activities geared toward families. From a petting zoo, pig races and llamas to obstacle courses, zip lines, jumping pillows, a GIANT slide and corn pits, the activities at Sever’s will keep you moving and working up an appetite! Check out the TWO food courts this year and their harvest items to take home including apples and pumpkins. Local artisans will also be on hand selling hand crafted work.
For three years in a row, Sever’s Fall Festival has been awarded Minnesota’s Best Gold for Best Fall Fun. Minnesota’s Best is an audience-driven, no-cost contest where businesses are nominated by owners, managers, customers, and/or fans. The public then votes for the winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.
The fun starts on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 and runs Saturdays and Sundays through November 1, 2026 from 10am to 7pm. It is also the PERFECT place to take the kids over MEA, Thursday and Friday, October 15 and 16.
