Paper plate string art is super simple, fun, cheap! Your kids will take pride while making this one! Here are the simple steps to create one:
Assemble your supplies
This craft needs these few items to get started-
- Yarn
- Paper plates
- Hole puncher
- Scissors
Steps to create string art.
1. Cut out your heart (we bent the plate and cut it out that way!)
2. Punch holes around the shape. Don’t punch them too close together, though! We happened to paint the paper plate with red paint.
3. Start threading! We taped one end of the yarn to the back and taped the other end to make it easier to thread. We didn’t overthink this, just threaded through each hole!
4. Tape the other end of the yarn to the back of the plate.
5. Display proudly 🙂
