Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit comes alive with music

The Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit at Lighthouse in Minneapolis is a sight to see on a normal visit but this transformation is quite incredible.

The Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies (GTCYS) recently performed Vincent (Starry, Starry Night) by Phil Thompson and they have shared it with all of us to enjoy.  So please enjoy!

We recently visited the exhibit with our family! We had seen photos from friends that had visited but didn’t quite know what to expect! The lobby has been transformed with many Van Gogh photo ops (which was fun, especially for the kids)! Once inside the exhibit, there are two wide-open rooms that show the same digital artworks. It takes some time to figure out what you should be doing or where you should go!

It’s much quieter than I was expecting, most people take the time to get immersed into the art and the experience. You can have different experiences depending on where you are sitting so I suggest moving around after the loop ends. After you leave, there is a fun gift shop with unique finds! Our visit lasted around 75 minutes.

While in the area…

Stop by BauHaus Brewery or 612Brew if you’re in the mood for a cold beverage or Dogwood Coffee or Spyhouse Coffee if you are in the mood for a hot coffee!

Have fun!
