Tell us all about you and what inspired you to start your business.

Not too long ago, my sweet girlfriend Megan called me in tears after having her first baby. She was anxious about knowing what to do if the baby choked or stopped breathing. We talked about how helpful it would be for someone who could come to her home and teach her family CPR at home.

Tell us all about your business. What can parents/kids expect?

I want to focus on empowering parents, caregivers, and loved ones with these lifesaving skills. Finding time for a traditional class can be challenging, so I created Heart to Home CPR to bring this specialized training right to people’s homes. I’m excited to see how this business develops while working with so many good families that have a similar concern for their children.

What do you love about the Twin Cities? Why is this a great community for local small businesses?

I love how accessible the Twin Cities are. I live in Stillwater with my husband, but we love driving into the cities for hockey games, excellent restaurants, and the beautiful lakes.

What is the best way for the Minnesota Parent community to support your business?

The best way for the Minnesota Parent community to support Heart To Home CPR is by taking classes and sharing their experiences.

How does your business inspire parents and their children?

Learning CPR is an empowering life-saving skill. Every parent should know how to save their child’s life.

Tell us about you! Your family, what brings you joy?

We were never able to have children; however, I have been very fortunate to be a bonus mom and mentor to many children in my life.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

I am proud to have been a CPR Instructor for over a decade!
