Children learn best through play! For over 35 years, Minnesota Parent has been providing families with the best places to play, shop, eat and explore in the Twin Cities and beyond. Minnesota Parent wants all children to thrive and what better way to do that than to get out of the house, off the screens and experience all that Minnesota has to offer!
Community Matters:
The strength of a community is invaluable. At Minnesota Parent, we understand that a thriving community sets the stage for positive behaviors and attitudes, influencing both children and adults. We take pride in organizing community events that foster friendships and connections among families.
Play helps children develop their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being. Through play, children build confidence, develop relationships, and learn about the world. That’s why every child deserves a chance to play. Gillette Children’s is creating resources and sending an open invitation to everyone throughout Minnesota to join in inclusive play.
What do we mean by inclusive play?
Inclusive play is the ability for all children to participate in physical fun. Play unites all of us, but too often inclusive play spaces can be hard to find – and even when spaces are accessible, it is up to all of us to create play opportunities that are truly and fully welcoming. These events are helping bridge that gap by bringing community members together with local organizations dedicated to helping all children and their families thrive.
