Endless Activities for All Ages at Waterville’s Kamp Dels
Kamp Dels Address: 14842 Sakatah Lake Road, Waterville, MN 56096
About Kamp Dels
If summer fun were a destination on a map, it would be Waterville’s Kamp Dels, an iconic family campground located just an hour south of the Twin Cities. To call Kamp Dels a campground, though, does not do it justice. When I say this place has absolutely EVERYTHING you need to make great summer memories while soaking up the sun, I mean it. They boast numerous water parks and pools, playgrounds, sports courts and equipment, lake activities, and much more.

Campgrounds and Cabins
The first step in planning your trip to Kamp Dels is deciding where to stay and what experience you are looking for. There are campgrounds available for rent with water and electricity, as well as full-hookup site options. Campers can also bring along their tents!
Prefer air conditioning, a kitchen, and a real bed? They have two-bedroom, studio, and five-bedroom cabins available for booking. The grounds also feature a large, dedicated area for RVs that can be rented seasonally, allowing you to extend your stay at Kamp Dels.
Looking for a shorter stay? Day passes are available for purchase, allowing guests to enjoy the campground’s pools and water parks, as well as its land-based activities, such as the petting zoo and mini golf.

Water Wow!
One of the main attractions at Kamp Dels is the water, whether it be in the lake or their 38,000-square-foot complex of water parks and pools. “Khaos Kove” is for the thrill seekers in your family, with large water slides, an over-the-water rock climbing wall, and water basketball and volleyball courts. The Lazy Lagoon is their “swimming and diving” pool, and Tykes Typhoon is ideal for babies and toddlers, featuring a zero-depth entry pool, geysers, and fountains.
For those looking to take advantage of one of our state’s 10,000 lakes, Kamp Dels is conveniently located on the shores of Lake Sakatah and offers paddle boats, aqua trikes, canoes, pedal pontoons, and paddleboards for rent. You can also rent a full-sized pontoon and cast a line in their on-site catch-and-release fishing pond.

Activities Abound
When it’s time to dry off, the fun continues at Kamp Dels with baseball and softball batting cages, mini-golf, a driving range, and frisbee golf on the grounds. Kamp Dels even has a petting zoo with goats, llamas, peacocks, and sheep. There are also multiple playgrounds and a large arcade featuring bowling lanes, air hockey, and skeeball. Some of their activities cost an additional fee, so check their website for a full cost breakdown.
