The best matching Christmas pajamas for the whole family

There’s something about matching family Christmas pajamas that captures my heart. It would land right in the center of a Venn diagram comprised of the circles “family bonding,” “memory making” and “holiday fun.”

For me, that’s a sweet spot.

A few companies are well established in this area (and have their own hashtagged nicknames to prove it), but I’d like to introduce you to three brands that deserve your consideration this Christmas.

When I saw the Beaufort Bonnet Company had released a new line of pajamas with a darling “12 Days of Christmas” pattern, I couldn’t resist.

One of my favorite Christmas Eve traditions is gathering at my grandma’s house to sing “12 Days of Christmas,” Grandma plucking away gamely at the piano, each of us belting out our designated day. These PJs would be perfect for that — and there’s even an option for Mom!

The Beaufort Bonnet Company has some of the sweetest children’s clothing with a Southern or preppy twist, and this pattern is no exception. I love how it feels festive but still relies on a pastel palette that’s dainty and light.

How cute is that calling bird? And the French hen in the pink bow?

These PJs aren’t cheap, but they are high quality — super soft and cuddly.

If you’re looking for a more rustic, North Woods vibe, check out the matching holiday PJs by LazyOne, Inc. My favorite is the Bear Essentials Collection, which includes an adult bath robe, coordinating slippers and a hilarious flapjack onesie for the dog

LazyOne Christmas PJs are reasonably priced, distinctly Minnesotan in style and, perhaps best of all, wider ranging in its offerings per pattern if you’re looking to mix it up a bit among the fam. Go for the nightgown, put Dad in the baseball-style tee, nab the onesie and embrace the bomber hat.

The women’s PJs come in XS to XL, and the men’s range from XS to XXL. Free shipping for orders over $50.

A third option worth considering is PatPat, which offers the widest range of Christmas pajamas I’ve seen at a very reasonable price point.

They’ve got a ton of striped options, fair-isle patterns and, for the cheeseball family, elves. They have plenty of search filters to aid your shopping.

Sizing ranges from S to XL for women and from S to XXL for men, but look closely: A number of sizes are sold out.

Free shipping is available on orders exceeding $35.

If you’re looking to outfit the whole clan in the most economical way, PatPat may be for you.

Don’t forget to grab the camera!
