The European Christmas Market is returning for its 11th year at Union Depot, ready to delight families from November 28 through December 21, 2025, with festive fun over four consecutive weekends. As the largest traditional holiday market in Minnesota, this event is a beloved part of Union Depot’s annual Hub for the Holidays series, bringing old-world Christmas charm to life with shopping, food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities.

With over 70 wooden kiosks to explore, the market offers a unique shopping experience where families can find special holiday gifts. Discover handmade toys, plushies, cozy woolen goods, beautiful local pottery, and so much more! For those looking to bring home the spirit of a traditional Christmas, these charming gifts are sure to delight.
Tasty Treats & Festive Flavors 🌭🥟
Take a break from shopping and enjoy European-inspired flavors with popular dishes like authentic German Brats and savory Polish Pierogi. And for parents, the market offers special beverages, including Glühwein (a festive mulled wine served warm) and a non-alcoholic version for all to enjoy. New this year, in partnership with Summit Brewing, is a special Christmas Market Pils, served in holiday-themed steins—a fun keepsake from this year’s event!

Each weekend, families can enjoy live music, dance groups, and visits from Santa himself! Kids will love writing letters to Santa, and the dazzling holiday lights create an enchanting backdrop.
