WaterFest is a free family festival with fun outdoor activities and hands-on learning about local watershed topics. The event runs Saturday, June 4, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Phalen Regional Park in Saint Paul.
Visitors can experience the following activities:
- Voyager canoe
- Sailboats
- Dragon boat
- Kayak rides
- Fishing contest
- Water games
- Interactive educational activities
- Bounce house and jump castle
- Our Passport Odyssey with prizes
- and many more opportunities to celebrate our local waters
Food trucks are available for those who get hungry.
The annual festival is presented by Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District, which has restored more than 100 native plant species along large areas of Lake Phalen shoreline and improved the water quality through invasive carp management.
