Juicy steak & chicken kebabs grilled to perfection with bold flavors—an easy, delicious recipe perfect for summer BBQs and family dinners.
The longer the meat has to marinate, the more flavorful this dish will be!
You can marinate these kebabs for 2 hours or even overnight. Prepare the following marinade and submerge diced chicken and beef for 2 hours or even overnight. In a glass dish, combine 2 tbsp dijon mustard, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp dark brown sugar, 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp fresh rosemary (minced), 2 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp fresh thyme, 1 tsp salt and ¼ tsp ground black pepper. Toss to coat and refrigerate until ready to grill. If you are using wooden skewers, be sure to soak them in water prior to grilling to prevent burning.
Grilled Steak & Chicken Kebabs Ingredients:
2 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp dark brown sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp thyme minced
1 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 lb chicken breast (boneless, skinless)
1/2 lb beef tenderloin (lean) diced
1 zucchini diced into chunks
1 bell pepper (red) diced
1 onion (red) diced
1 olive oil spray
8 skewers (wood or metal)
Instructions:
- In a glass dish, combine dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, dark brown sugar, olive oil, fresh rosemary (minced), minced garlic, fresh thyme, salt and ground black pepper
- Add the diced chicken and beef. Next, toss to coat and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- When ready to cook, thread each of 8 skewers with 3 pieces of each vegetable, 2 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of beef; brush any remaining marinade over the skewers. (Note, if using wooden skewers, be sure to soak them in water prior to grilling)
- Coat a grill or grill pan with cooking spray; heat to medium-high. Grill skewers, turning frequently, until chicken is firm and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
