Five tips for easy family fun before, during and after the Minnesota Twins game.

Summer is here and it is time to take your family to see Your Minnesota Twins at Target Field! The Twins have something to offer everyone – from kid’s attractions, ballpark dining, entertainment, giveaways, and more! Ready to take a trip to the ballpark? Find out everything you need to know below.

Before the Game: Minnesota Twins Target Field

As you are planning your visit to Target Field, get to know all the ticket specials and promotions the Twins have to offer your family!

Tickets are available in a variety of prices, starting at $10 per single game ticket. There are also a variety of ticket packages available, such as the TickPick Family Section, which includes a FREE hot dog and pop with your ticket. For more information and to purchase your tickets, visit the ticketing page on the Twins website

Also to note, the Twins offer complimentary admission to children less than 30″ in height for regular season games, provided they are accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. These children must sit on the lap of the accompanying adult and not occupy an additional seat.

In addition to a variety of ticket packages, the Twins also have fun promotions, highlighted by Kids Day! Every Sunday, kids 12-and-younger can run the bases on the field after the game. PLUS kids’ meals are half-priced at the Hennepin Grille stand near Section 311 and the Taste of Twins Territory stand near Section 124.

Promotions centered around giveaways are a family favorite! Here are some fun games and giveaways to check out:

  • April 7: Kids Club Theme Day AND Kids Opening Weekend Beanie (First 5,000 kids 12 and under) 
  • May 26: Hello Kitty Day – Ticket Package includes a ticket to the game and a Twins Hello Kitty Light Up Bobblehead

  • July 7: Joe Ryan Replica Jersey (Kids) (First 5,000 kids 12 and under)
  • August 4: Kids Back-to-School Backpack (First 5,000 kids 12 and under)
  • August 11: Kids Back-to-School Backpack (First 5,000 kids 12 and under)
  • August 25: Kids “Squishie” Pillow (First 5,000 kids 12 and under)
  • September 29: Kids Appreciation Baseball Hat (First 5,000 kids 12 and under)

Getting to the Game: Minnesota Twins Target Field

Target Field Parking and Transportation Options:

There are a variety of transportation options to travel to Target Field for the game. For those driving, the Twins, in collaboration with MPLS Parking and the City of Minneapolis, are pleased to provide preferred game day parking (with enhanced security) in Ramps A & B (reduced rate of $20), and also in Ramp C and the Hawthorne Ramp (special price of $20) throughout the 2024 season. Head to twins.com/transportation for further directions and information on getting to Target Field.

Once at the ballpark, Target Field gates open for admittance 1 hour before scheduled first pitch for all Monday-Thursday evening games, 1.5 hours before scheduled first pitch for weekday afternoon games, and 2 hours before scheduled first pitch for all Friday-Sunday games.

Target Field Bag Policy:

At the security line, single-compartment bags (maximum size of 16”x16”x8”) are allowed into Target Field. These include purses, clutch purses, single-compartment tote bags, clear bags, drawstring bags, diaper bags, single-compartment soft-sided coolers, fanny packs and bags containing medically necessary items.

Outside food is allowed into Target Field, however hard-sided containers are not allowed. Sealed, bottled water 32 oz. or less, and soft sided single juice or milk containers for children are the only outside beverages permitted into Target Field.

After your little one has a full belly, it’s time to play! TC’s Clubhouse is a small play area available in the Treasure Island Home Run Deck across from Section 230. Plus, T.C. Bear would love for you to visit him for a photo in the third inning of every game at that location!

Enjoy a game of mini-golf or bags on the concourse in right field!

If needed, baby changing tables are available in all restrooms and family restrooms. If a more private environment is desired, please visit the nearest Guest Service Center. Mothers in need of private accommodations while nursing or pumping are welcome to do so at the Nursing Rooms in the Guest Service Centers.

After the game: Minnesota Twins Target Field
