How to make sticky chicken wings

Let’s cut right to the chase. Chicken wings are a great appetizer, easy  dinner, or whatever you want them to be! These wings are simple and delicious and you probably have all the ingredients in your cupboard right now! So on to the recipe.

Sticky Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients-

½ cup butter
½ cup maple syrup
½ cup Dijon mustard
4 teaspoons curry powder
2 plus ½ teaspoons sea salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne
3 lb chicken wings
½ teaspoon freshly cracked pepper

Directions-

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Put the butter, maple syrup, mustard, curry powder, 2 teaspoons of the sea salt and cayenne in a 9-by-13-inch glass baking dish.
  • Place the dish in the oven while the oven is preheating for 5 to 7 minutes or until the butter melts, but does not brown.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and whisk the ingredients to combine. Cool for 5 minutes, then dredge each wing in the sauce. Coat the wing thoroughly with sauce.
  • Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer in the pan. Sprinkle with the pepper and remaining salt.
  • Bake uncovered for 25 minutes. Remove and baste with the pastry brush using the pan sauce. Bake uncovered for an additional 25 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and preheat the broiler.
  • Baste the chicken one final time, then broil for 1 to 2 minutes, until the chicken wings are brown, but doesn’t burn.
  • Cool for 5 minutes and enjoy!

Don’t forget the celery and ranch or blue cheese on the side.
