Local Spotlight: Meet Rosie Choromanski local children’s book author

We are excited to introduce you to local children’s book author Rosie Choromanski.

Tell us about you and what inspired you to write a children’s book.

The inspiration for ‘Moving’ came from helping young families navigate the stress of moving homes.

Tell us all about your book. What can parents/kids expect?

‘Moving’ is a heartwarming children’s story that gently navigates the emotions of leaving one home and settling into another. The book helps young readers embrace the bittersweet feelings of moving – celebrating the memories tied to an old home while welcoming excitement of creating new ones. I hope the book sparks conversation, encourages questions, and helps bring closure during the transition.

What do you love about the Twin Cities? Why is this a great community for local authors?

I am new to the ‘author’ scene so I am looking forward to learning more but I do love how supportive Twin Cities is to their local creators.

What is the best way for the Minnesota Parent community to support your business?

The book can be purchased from my website www.movingwithrosie.com. You can also support the book by sharing it with a family that is moving or with someone you know that helps families buy/sell/move.

How does your book inspire parents and their children?

I hope ‘Moving’ opens the door to conversation, comfort and new beginnings.

Tell us about you! Your family!

I have two older sisters who both have three kids and those kids have made me one of the luckiest aunties.

Tell us about your favorite places to go? Restaurants, roads trips, parks etc.

I love being outside, in nature, exploring, creating and learning. Bunker Hills Regional Park and Elm Creek Park Reserve are two of favorites.

Anything else you want to share?

If you have had an idea for a book on your heart I challenge you to take the first step to making it happen. My inbox is open if you have any questions or would like to know more about the process and the help I received to make it happen.
