Shoreview Playground is a kids dream come true!
Are you looking for the coolest, biggest, and brightest playground in Minnesota to bring the kids for an afternoon of unlimited fun? Luckily, Minnesota has many playgrounds to visit: Elm Creek Park in Maple Grove, Madison’s Playground in Woodbury, and Woodhaven Park in Eagan. We are lucky that our state and communities invest so heavily in playgrounds, parks, and outdoor spaces since our outdoor time is limited throughout the year (winter closes many of these places).

Read on to learn about the giant playground, skatepark, and even a workout area at Shoreview Commons Destination Playground. This fantastic attraction is like something out of the Lorax! The playground includes artificial turf leading up to slides, traditional swing sets, a 50-foot zip line, and a forest area with climbing activities. A signature element is the treehouse tower, which is more than 20 feet tall and has super long slides.
This whimsical treehouse tower play piece is magical for kids. They can play in the tree fort, climb through mazes and do one of many slides in this play area!
The sliding hill is adorable! The kids can go up from all directions to the top and pick their favorite slide to go down. Which one will you go down next? It’s so much fun!
So many options for kids when it comes to swings. These are designed for kids to hop on by themselves, with a friend, or with help from a caregiver.
More swings for the kids to pick from! And a zipline! Who doesn’t love a zipline?
The marsh area is excellent for younger kids 2-4 years, as well for older kids with balancing activities, climbing activities, and other elements to it as well. Tunnels, stepping stones, bridges, and more make this a great place to play tag or hide and seek with your friends!

If you need a break from the big playground, the upper playground sits on the hill that overlooks the main play area. This playground is excellent for older kids or kids who like low-key things.
Parents! If you want to join in on the fun, they have an adults workout area…yes, a workout space just for adults. There are over ten different ways to stay in shape at the playground with your kids!
Do your kids love to skateboard? They have an entire skateboard park too! This park has so much to offer families looking for a full day of fun!
