Hi Rachel & James, tell us about you and what inspired you to write Everyday Blessings.
Our Daughter Gracey….to share a little legacy of our blessings we hold in our pockets each day! This book is also a continued give back to “Feed My Starving Children” very thankful to give back as a little legacy for all children around the world! Each book helps sponsor 45 meals!
Tell us about the story of “Everyday Blessings”… What can parents/kids expect?
Interactive and Inspirational…Each child gets a chance to create their own pockets and make a scrap book of their own blessings in life!
Why is this a great community for local authors?
We were thankful to be published by one of our local companies…Beaver’s Pond Press of Minnesota! We truly appreciate all their support and all the local events we have attended to help promote our book!
How does your book inspire parents and their children?
Everyday Blessings helps encourage children and families to reflect on the little things in life! Curiosity, adventure, courage and faith are just a few of the blessings pockets they will get to create to share their own memories in! Hoping this book brings peace to their homes and joy to their hearts!
What do you love about the Twin Cities?
We truly enjoy being near the Minnesota River Bend and going on bike rides as a family!
Tell us about your favorite places to go as a family? Restaurants, roads trips, parks etc.
As a family we truly love the ability to travel and explore new things! We are always road tripping to see family in Owatonna and eating in their cute downtown at The Kitchen owned by my Grandma’s cousin Linda! We enjoy biking in the summer down by the Minnesota River and taking our little love Gracey to different parks along the way! Gracey has a love for dogs and we enjoy taking our 4 legged kiddos to the off leash dog park in Bloomington as well! We also enjoy going to the local Nature Center and exploring…Richardson Nature Center and Wood Lake Nature Center! Minnehaha Falls dog park is also on of our favorite to take our pups!
